[blockquote text=’“I can’t believe anything, but then again, there’s also nothing I wouldn’t believe anymore, because of my recent experiences. Reality and unreality have broken down in my mind. Dogs are cats, squares are circles, tunnels are bridges, forks are spoons. What’s wrong with me? Let’s do this. Pen to paper, pen to paper. Try not to stab yourself with the pen. Okay, let’s go.”’ text_color=’#8dc63f’ width=” line_height=’undefined’ background_color=” border_color=” show_quote_icon=’no’ quote_icon_color=”]

So begins the recollections of Bennet Bardo, high school senior and resident of Gordo, New Mexico. He never expected to be the kind of person who writes his memoirs just in case ‘the doctors at the mental hospital’ need evidence of why he’s locked away. Bennet was supposed to graduate and go on to college. He never expected to get waitlisted at Princeton, go to prom with the unattainable Sophie (she of the most superlatives in the senior yearbook) and THEN have to rescue her from alien abductors. Seriously. This interstellar road trip is fun from start to finish. Pick it up if you like action, adventure, romance and alien reality T.V. competitions.
