11 May Popular Summer Reading Program Returns to the Library
From June 1 through July 31, 2015 the popular Summer Reading Program will return to the Hamilton East Public Library. Each year, thousands of readers – infants, youth, teens and adults – participate in this special program. Prizes are awarded to participants who complete the requirements for their specific age category and may include coupons to area restaurants or attractions, gift cards, books and more. Beginning June 1, readers of all ages are encouraged to register online at hepl.lib.in.us or by visiting the Noblesville Library or Fishers Library!
Along with this year’s Every Hero has a Story theme, numerous programs for all ages have been scheduled. Magician Marcus Layman will amuse and delight audiences with his hands-on approach to magic at The Magic of Books at the Noblesville Library on June 15. Professor Steve will visit the Fishers Library on July 2 and then the Noblesville Library on July 13 to present The Science of Superman, delighting us with his super powers – levitating, controlling gravity and breaking objects with laser heat vision – and then sharing the science behind it all! Then on July 31, the Summer Reading Program will culminate with all day finales at both library buildings. For a full listing and specific details about the library’s programs, visit their calendar of events at hepl.lib.in.us/events.
