Noblesville Digital Media Lab

Digital Media LabHamilton East Public Library is excited to announce the opening of our new Digital Media Lab! This unique lab, located in the Adult Services Department at the Noblesville Library offers our community access to high quality equipment for digital media projects. If you’re looking to use Photoshop, Final Cut Pro or transfer those old VHS tapes to DVD, you’ve come to the right place!

With the generous donation from the Friends of the Library we are able to provide access to a Digital Media Lab that boasts two iMac computers and the latest software, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro and Apple Motion. It doesn’t stop there, we also offer the following hardware:

  • Epson Perfection V850 Photo Scanner.
  • VHS tape converter (to DVD or digital file).
  • External hard drives to check out.
  • Set of headphones for each iMac.

Who can use the lab? Anyone Grade Six and older may use the lab on their own (anyone younger than Grade Six must be accompanied by an adult).  A library card is not required, but please provide proof of identity if you intend to use the equipment. Wanting to use the lab, but aren’t familiar with the software? No worries, we have training sessions where you can learn Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements. You can also schedule a one-on-one training session.
