FOL Board Approves Funding for the Next Concert in the HEPL Music Series

The Board of Directors of the Friends of the Library has approved funding for the next concert in the music series. The Central Indiana Folk Music and Mountain Dulcimer Society will be at the Fishers library on Saturday September 23 at 2:00 to share their love of traditional music. They will be playing and singing a variety of old-time, folk and gospel songs. Please bring your voice and your love of good music and join in. They play acoustic (non-electric) instruments including (but not limited to) the mountain and hammered dulcimer, guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bass, harmonica, autoharp or rhythm instruments.

After the performance, please stay to ask questions, and take the opportunity to try out the various instruments. In addition to this performance, they also play concerts throughout the state at a variety of events including the state fair, country fairs, community festivals, retirement and nursing homes, and libraries.

The HEPL Music Series is sponsored by the Friends of Hamilton East Public Library. As always, children and families are welcome.
