Their magical voyage takes the reader on an incredible journey that tests the strength and bonds of the unique characters. Will Meg be able to battle the forces of evil and discover how to use the most powerful force in the universe to prevail and save her father?

A Wrinkle in Time was the Newberry Medal winner of 1963. This novel appeals primarily to youth in grades 6th- 9th.

The following quote from The Saturday Review accurately describes this novel; “It has the general appearance of being science fiction, but it is not…There is mystery, mysticism, a feeling of indefinable, brooding horror…The pervading theme is love… It is original, different, and exciting.”
